***Half Year Membership - Fall of 2022***

Membership Information:

  • The clubs dance year is from February - January.  
  •  The dance year consists of a total of 30 weeks of dance lessons; grouped into dance sessions lasting between 3-6 weeks.  
  • There are no lessons July - August, long weekends, or during Christmas Break (mid December - New Year’s).
  • Lessons are available for members and non-members.
  • All sessions are open to the public. 
  • All payments are by cash or cheque at the door (no credit or debit cards unless you register online).
  • Pre-registration for many of our classes is available using credit cards via EventBrite and the links are available here and on our events page.
  • Half-year memberships, for 15 weeks of dance, are available only for September - January.
  • Options are available for membership.

Membership Levels - Country Pride Dance Club
 
LEVEL 1 - Full Membership
Cost $150.00 ( 3 bingos,  2 bingo and $50.00, or 1 bingo and $100.00)
$90.00 for half year
Includes
All dance lessons for the year does not include workshops
Right to vote at general meetings and serve on committees
Buy CPDC merchandise at cost
Get 'member pricing' on workshops
Receive notification of special occasions
Receive applicable bday card, wedding, funeral, anniversary
Opportunity for reimbursement for Festivals/Workshops up to $200/for extra bingo
Discounts at participating merchants
Option to dance with Performance/Comp Team- ( one time costs covered for outfits, hat, jackets, etc )
One coupon for session of dance lessons. ( value $37.50  no cash value)
2 for 1 for selected dances.
 
LEVEL 2 - Team Membership
Cost $100 ( or 2 bingos, or 1 bingo and $50.00 )
Includes
One coupon for session of dance lessons. ( value $37.50  no cash value)
Right to vote at general meetings and serve on committees
Can belong to team includes benefits ( Jackets, outfits, boots )
Buy CPDC merchandise at cost
Get 'member pricing' on workshop and events
Discounts at participating merchants
Receive notification of special occasions
Receive bday card (no other gifts)
2 for 1 for selected dances.
 
LEVEL 3 - Social Membership
$50.00 for the year (or 1 bingo) no half year available
Includes
One coupon for session of dance lessons. ( value $37.50  no cash value)
Right to vote at general meetings and serve on committees
Can belong to team but no benefits ( ie, Jackets, event fees, etc )

Get 'member pricing' on workshop and events

Receive bday card (no other gifts)
2 for 1 for selected dances.
 
Note Guests are invited to attend our 6:30pm dance sessions on a trial basis for up to 4 weeks before purchasing a membership.
 

Option 1: (full-year memberships only)
$50 + 2 x $50 Post-Dated Cheques + Work at 2 BINGOs (1 cheque is returned for each of the 2 BINGOs worked)


Option 2:
Full Year:          $100  plus 1 x $50 Post-Dated Cheque + Work at 1 BINGO

Half Year:         $40  plus 1 x $50 Post-Dated Cheque + Work at 1 BINGO


Option : 
$150/full-year  membership      $90/half-year membership

* One post-dated cheque will be returned upon working each BINGO.

In the event that there are no commitments to work BINGOs, Option 4 will become the default.

Non-members:
Non-members can sign up for dance sessions of dancing.  Dance session costs vary with the number of weeks of lessons.

Guidelines for Recognition Program 2019
These guidelines will go into effect as of Sept 2019
Members will be recognized as of Sept 2019 for years as a member, directors, and performance team. These categories will be recognized as of that date and members will be eligible for more recognition from that point forward.
Lesson will be recognized for all that attend the all the sessions for the dance offered.
 
Categories for Recognition
1) Lesson Completion - Complete one full set of lessons by attending ALL classes for the dance offered and receive recognition for that dance.
2) Lesson sessions - Attend and complete dance sessions for recognition. Receive recognition after completion of 2, 5, and 10 full sessions of dances offered. Must attend all classes for the session of the dance offered.
3) Years as members - This is retro-active and will be recognized as of  Sept  2019, and going forward. Members must be in good standing will be recognized for how many years with the club. Members will then be eligible for further recognition in the future for years 2, 5, 10, 15, & 20.
4) Board Members - This is retro-active and will be recognized as of  Sept  2019, and going forward. Board members must be in good standing will be recognized for how many years serving on the board. Members will then be eligible for further recognition in the future for years 2, 4, 6, 10, 15, & 20.
5) Performer - This is retro-active and will be recognized as of  Sept  2019, and going forward. Team members must be in good standing will be recognized for how many years performing on the team. Members will then be eligible for further recognition in the future for years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10
6) Appreciation - Will be given out at the discretion of the board to people that have went above and beyond to help the club. Recognition of their time, and energy is appreciated and this shows a small memento.
7) Promotion - Will be given out by the board to people that we feel will help promote the club in the future. These my be given to visitors, sponsors, and influencers in the community to promote the club and what we do.
8) Teacher - Will be given by the board to people that are recognized as teachers for the club.
